I am back! @ New home in Guanghou
Yeah, my parcels have arrived! After almost 4months of waiting, finally I get back all my stuffs especially the winter clothes and my favorite Scrapbooking goodies (although it’s only partial of my inventory)! Now I really feel I am at “home” after filling all my clothes, shoes, books, scrapbook items, etc into wardrobe, cupboard, cabinets… you have no idea how I have been living in an “empty” house for the past few months, not that my new apartment in GZ is no good, just that I am so used to have a lot of “junk” around me, so it is hard for me to live without them, specially scrapbooking… I am so glad that I can start my art & craft again! Oh yes, it give me a reason to blog again! Although I had a hard time to blog in China, but I’ll try… for the sake of scrapbooking, haha…

Finally I am there… Singapore Zoo’s entrance… and our version of night safari
After upgrading my bike’s fork to Talas , Chris King headset and white Spank wheelset, I am ready to go for another spin.
Setting off from Clementi home, riding all the way down via Bukit Batok, then passing through Hill View, then turning into Bukit Timah Road and towards Dairy Farm Road via Zheng Hua. Cutting through a small dirt trail, we rode into a mountain biking trail known as T15. After some steep climbing and some bumpy trails, we reach a locked gate at Mandai Range. Here, we have a jump a rail to climb over the opposite side, hurling our bikes over; we continue to ride towards Mandai Road at 6.40pm, when the sky’s turning dark by then. We hit the direction towards Zoo and its dark when we reached Singapore Zoo entrance. Hungry form our ride; we made it in time for KFC’s finger licking good last order.
After dinner, we have to make our way back, through the same way we rode but this time, under darkness into the trails without any head lights. Once we rode inside the off-road trail, we were greeted by a bunch of wild boars scrambling for cover the moment they saw two strange figures riding towards them. Although it was dark, amazingly the trail was quite well lighted by the moon light, except for certain section where its covered by heavy canopy of trees. I barely can see a thing except Jay’s shadow and his whisper becomes my guide. But the ride riding was more exciting than we had planned. Although I was exhausted on the return journey, I must keep up with Jay’s speed otherwise I will be left behind. That a joke but in some distant, I can hear wild boars and some unknown sound of animals. I guess the T15 journey only about 2km long but I admit it’s a difference experience to ride at night. So I must say that I did an unusual night safari without paying an entrance fees.
Refreshed after a good warm shower, we were relaxing with a mug of Ben and Jerry’s watching Nat Geo Wild….what a night experience.

Me & My first mountain bike -- Specialized Epic Expert
It’s finally here...Finally got my own mountain bike rigged up, it’s a Specialized Epic! Took it out for a spin at Butterfly, one of the rugged off-road trails inside Bukit Timah forest reserve.
The trails here are frequently patronised by regular bikers, comprising of overgrown vines, exposed tree roots, fallen timbers and mud pools are just some of the obstacles making up this trail.
It was an exhausting pursuit to overcome these obstacles but real sweaty fun ride. Took a few falls, suffered few cuts but the ride was fun and exciting overall.

Apparently government is doing the trial run for national day parade (NDP)... wow, I have no seen one in live before and it’s even better for me to test my skill with new lens...
Sob sob…most of my photos are blur… Seem like I need more practice…

My "sew" piece -- Simply apron
Is time to play my new toy—sewing machine!! Thanks to Aunty Tan who sold the sewing machines to me was patient enough to teach me how to operate the machine and some basic tricks of sewing last week.
As usual, before really know sewing, I do my shopping first. I bought a lot of difference foots, needle, colourful thread, scissor, fabrics and some stuffs that I wanted to do some alteration. But right after I jump start it, I realised sewing wasn’t as easy as I thought. Perhaps Aunty Tan make it look easy to me. Well, after a few rounds of failures, I finally able to add some trims on my apron! See how it turns out! **err... please do not look at the details**
The apron that I bought from Artfriend...
After my "magic" touch...
Although I have spray glimmer mist and sew some ribbons, trims and stamping on my apron, I still find it look very plain. So I have decided to make myself a brooch with my initial on it.
First I pick a little girl motif from a fabric and cut it out, and then paste it down with a card board. Following, stuffing some sponge and sew around its’ perimeter. After that I used hot gun to secure it on the pin and finish it with some beads, button and font chipboard. I tied pink gauze at the corner to give a final soft touch. I totally love the end result and it definitely completed my “artistic” apron look.
Last warming, don’t look at the details too close... haha...

Wall painting
I did something big today! Yes, I paint big swirls on a wall of 1.8m L x 2.1m H size. It is my sis-in-law’s new house bedroom. She wanted some features on her bed head wall but yet she can’t decide what or how she wants to do about it. So I volunteer to be her artist by drawing something on the wall; a fast and economic solution for her. She gladly accepts it and she picked a colour and motifs for me to work on. And my super nice hubby also helps up to paint the wall brown colour for me to work as a background colour. Once I draw out the outline of the motif, then I get into business real fast. By evening, my mission accomplished!
Although my sis-in-law like it, but I still think the outline is a bit too thick, so I might want to touch up it by adding some fine lines, make it more dimension and layers. Let’s see how it turns up when furniture move in this Wednesday...
Before...
Working on it...
**Dang-dang...

Hospitalized
I was admitted to hospital for the first time! It wasn’t fun at all… I was “pok” by difference doctors, to do blood test, CT scan, body check, etc… I was abstaining from food and drink, and I literally can’t move freely because I was on drips. It was nightmare for me… now I am glad discharged from hospital and rest at home…
Although I am in pain, I still try to smile in front of camera, what’s a freak me.
