Scrap-A-Tag

Just right before the closing date for Scrap-A-Tag challenge, I managed to alter 3 tags for the donation to charity organization. Two of the tag was designed double sided and the last one is single side (no more time lol...) primarily colour are brown, green and orange. Although using the same colour scheme, but these 3 tags gives difference design presentation.

I hope the person who receive my tags will like it

Blueprint's sketches 41&42

After a long Chinese New Year holidays, it is time to get back to my scrapbook drawing board. Yesterday, I managed to complete 2 sketches from Blueprint, what a productive day! There you go...

Sketch 41

Guess I am still in valentine / CNY mood, I chose red colour as my primary tone to play with. I also like all the cute elements from the BoBunny's Paper and I end up cutting it all out and embellish it almost everywhere of the layout.

The photo was taken in front of the boutique hotel that we spent 2 night stay in Yogyakarta. It is a Javanese Chinese style hotel where planted difference kind of plantation in its courtyard. It is nice and cosy hotel but just a little bit far from the town.

Sketch 42

And my take is...

These are the old photos of my diving trip at Pulau Redang back in year 2000! It’s always very memorable experience for me as it is my first underwater exploring, and where I did my Open water PADI course exam. I like this sketches because it allow me to display the off-shore photo and underwater photo separately but yet referring to the same activity. I used colourful and bold elements in this layout, just like how much fun I did in my trip.

I enjoy doing this layout simply because it evoke my sweet old memories :)

I am the Big Shots* (an affectionate term for Made With Love Sizzix members)

I joined the ‘To Die For’ crop party which organised by Made With Love last Saturday. Guess what, I’m the fastest in completing the mini project and I won a Sizzix Alphabet sets worth almost $350! I am so happy and I end up buying more Dies at the end of the event….

See what I did with my newly bought Sizzix Die…

1) Flower, Build a flower, 2) Flower & Leaf, 3) Film Strip and 4) Tag Happy 2

Material: B5 size Clear board from Daiso, a perfect present for my hubby in this upcoming Valentine’s Day, I want him write me love note every day, haha…

Talking about the Sizzix big shot, I think it work the best if you are looking for a DIY present which can be produce in mass. Last year Christmas, I personalised a gift for all my colleagues (40pax!) by using Sizzix Bigz XL Die- Bag, Scallop Circle. See how it turn out…

See, you can use the same Die but make it into a very difference packaging. Cool isn’t it? Thanks for watching.

February Challenge - Printing Photos onto Your Backsides

I learned this new technique from Webster’s page February challenge. I printed my photo with paper pattern backsides to give a special dimensional look, and it’s fantastic! I love the effect so much!

Last January 2010 challenge

As I said before, I still have one more challenge to play in January 2010. There you go... last layout for January

http://www.madewithlove.com.sg - Sketch Challenge #2

1) Create a 12 X 12 paper layout *so sorry at this time we do not accept digial layouts*
2) Follow all or some of the design elements in the sketch
3) The butterfly may be changed to any accent you like, it does not have to be a butterfly - flowers, chipboards, other woodland animals etc.
4) Use any brand of products you love, in whatever combination of colours you like.

For this challenge, I picked one old photo of mine that taken in year 2007, at Interlaken. I used Graphic45 papers, vintage tag, flowers and clocks for layout placement. Merci!
