Lucky November

November is definitely my lucky month! I won Made With Love (MWL)’s Irene-Gwen’s Fabric Mixed Challenge! Besides that, I was the lucky winner on Laines Papeterie Ed's Orange Challenge, and I also won an Amy Butler tote bag in Shane Hershey's K&Co. class! Most importantly, I won 2nd prize on Scrapbook-A-Page Contest which organised UrbanWrite (Popular Book)! What a happy lucky month… and May the “force” be with me always, haha… and thanks for your supports too

Here's the layout for Made With Love (MWL)’s Irene-Gwen’s Fabric Mixed Challenge.

This is my first time using fabric on a layout and it is not easy to glue them down. I crumble the ColorCore cardstock to give a rough texture and against it, I used layered fabric which I tried to capture the stone pillars composition. It is an idea that I learned from book, hope it turn out well... on the last photo, there is a hidden journal inside and I tied it with ribbon across.

**The Reed Flute cave in Guilin, China is amazing! Inside this spectacular world of stone was illuminated by colourful lighting.**

My lucky layout in Ed's Orange Challenge -- Golden Lane @ Prague

I found a set of wooden miniature that I bought in Prague long time ago and I totally forgotten about it *too small to notice* So for good keepsake, I used it as part of embellishment in this layout.

Shane Hershey from K&Co. I was so happy to win the Amy Butler tote bag, Thanks!

Layouts from LP

I have been attending scrapbook classes from Laines’s Papeterie but most of the time I won’t able to complete the layout that I learn from classes. It is either due to my laziness or I can’t find the right photo to match it. So here are some of the layouts that I have successfully completed so far…

Alright, I know I am not a good student, well, I promise I’ll try my best to do up the rest, k?

For my team - Xmen

Realized I didn’t really scrap much about my work place or colleagues… so far, this is the only one I did for my current company—Dinner &Dance event in 2007. We all have to dress up like a super hero and my team- Xmen won the best performance of the night. I want to make a “super power” layout with loud and bold colour, and place as much photos as I can…

For Sally

Before I getting my own car, Sally is a very nice friend that has been driving me around with her red Jazz. This layout of Sally driving her red Jazz are specially made to thank her being a best friend of me & my husband.

And I like these 2 photos of her very much, so I decided to use it for scrapbooking competition submission.

My "new" family

This is my “new” family members. I used this pretty die-cut flower to form a “family tree”. My mother-in-law is always in the center of our hearts; hence I placed her photo in the center, and then surrounding by all the children and grand children. I am glad to be one of the members.

My Family

This is my family, a very precious photo because most of my family members are there attending my wedding banquet in KL.

11.11.2009

My last and only post was dated 09.09.09. Today is 11.11.2009. Am I really gonna wait for “prosperous” date then I only I blog? Like what my friends said and laugh about? Haha… guess I’m just being lazy and not making any efforts to do it. So I am going to make a change, start with posting my “new” found hobby (after scrapping about a year++ still consider new?) – Scrapbooking, my own layouts on the blog. I am not a person who is good in expressing myself, my view, my life. So my scrapbooking works will definitely an interesting means to show you who am I, what I have, where I been and why I am here... Just like how / what I describe in my blog tag line…

I’ll reveal my works here slowly… There you go with the first one… a quick way to show many “face” of me, what a way to introduce myself in my blog…
